The canteen is managed by volunteers and all proceeds go to the maintenance and projects related to  SV Temple only.   You can either Eat-in or Take-away

Hours of Operation: 10am - 4pm on Fri/Sat/Sun and Public Holidays (On Ganesh Visarjan and 1st Jan : 9am – 5pm)
Any other special functions - Please refer our website/communications from temple.

Masala Tea $3.00 -Prepared with full cream milk and includes cardamom, little ginger and other spices.
Filter  Coffee $3.00 -South Indian style filter coffee
Normal Coffee/Tea $1.50 -Self service Coffee/Tea bag
Sweets (Laddu/Mysore Pak) $1.50 -$1.50 per piece

Sweets - Jangri $2.00 -$2.00 per piece

Soft Drinks $2.00 -Water/Coke/Fanta/Sprite/Sunkist/Lemonade

Please note:

  • Chutney contains coconut but no peanuts and no onion or garlic.
  • Sambar does not have any onions or garlic but might contain potatoes.
  • Kurma contains onion, garlic and potatoes.
  • Chenna does not have any garlic or onion.
  • Takeaway orders are subject to extra fee and the details can be displayed at the canteen.

Note: During special events like Visarjan and Jan 1st we do serve more items like Ice-cream/Chat Items/Vege rolls etc  other  than the items mentioned above.  Please check on those days for more details and while ordering.


We do take catering orders for marriages/functions/events that take place in our temple.

If you would like to volunteer and /or would like any further details kindly write to us on  or call 1300 626 663.  At this point in time we do not take catering orders for events that take place outside the temple.

We appreciate every devotee visiting the temple to take care of disposing any rubbish in the bins provided and to make sure to clean up their tables before leaving.
